What you can expect

You will be responsible for developing new products and solutions in the area of reactive resins.

  • You will formulate products in accordance with the requirements set out in project and development requests.

  • You will identify innovative new product ideas that create value for our customers and meet their needs and requirements.

  • You will ensure that newly developed and/or changed products transition from the lab scale to production and that this process is monitored.

  • In addition, you will organize and coordinate project teams, taking the available budget into account.

  • You will perform literature and patent research and work on development and evaluation of appropriate testing and measurement methods with the relevant equipment.

  • Within the BASF development network, you will drive forward the technological development and evolution of your working field.

What we expect

  • You have a degree in chemistry and ideally, you have already been able to gain relevant professional experience in a leadership or project management position in the field of development.

  • As a result, you have in-depth knowledge in the area of product development as well as testing and measurement methods.

  • You are proficient in both spoken and written business German and have excellent English language skills.

  • Your innovative and creative mindset allows you to develop new concepts, taking economic aspects into account along with other factors in the process.

  • Thanks to your communication skills, you are able to work with internal interfaces to manage projects through to a successful conclusion.
