What you can expect

We are looking for a candidate to join our Accounts Receivable & Collection team as soon as possible and work with us to ensure high-quality customer accounting and receivables management.

  • As an accounts receivable accountant, you will have regular contact with customers, sales, credit management and colleagues in other financial departments.

  • You will be responsible for posting incoming payments, will perform accounts receivable-related payments, will clarify payment discrepancies with customers and coordinate necessary debt collection activities that may potentially come into being.

  • You will document litigious claims and will coordinate the prompt clarification of outstanding issues, as well as necessary changes in-house.

  • You will participate in preparing the monthly and annual closings for BASF Group companies.

  • You will use your expertise and ideas to optimize our workflows and when working with colleagues.

What we expect

  • You have completed a formal vocational training program in business and commerce or have a comparable degree or certification.

  • You have already been able to gain initial professional experience in accounts receivable and additionally have solid knowledge and skills in working with SAP R/3 FI and MS Office.

  • You will utilize your excellent Hungarian, German and/or English language skills (as well as another European language - ideally Czech or Slovak) productively and effectively within our intercultural teams.
