  • You are educated ideally to degree level or equivalent in an Occupational Health discipline.

  • You are also a Registered Nurse and have accredited membership to a professional body in Occupational Health.

  • In addition, you have a minimum of 5 years' experience in an Occupational Health nurse role, preferably in manufacturing.

  • Also, you have experience in delivering routine health surveillance and supporting case management.

  • An understanding of Occupational Health, Safety and relevant employment legislation is also essential for this role.

  • Furthermore, you have strong interpersonal, confidential, verbal and written communication and networking skills with proven ability to work within a team or unsupervised.

  • Finally, you have a valid driving License.

TaskDescriptionAs an Occupational Health Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering occupational health surveillance and will support and help people stay in work via capability and rehabilitation advice.

  • In this role, you will provide advice on general health, lifestyle advice, conduct vaccinations for influenza programs and maintain accurate occupational health records.

  • In addition, you will support OH adviser as necessary with manager referrals, rehabilitation advice and case management.

  • You will also be responsible for supporting all health promotion activities for example: Global Health Campaigns.

  • Finally, you will be required to maintain your professional skills in line with OH practice revalidation requirements, which will include attending training courses and completion of professional qualifications.
