You will have 5 GCSE's including Maths and English grade 4 - 9 and a Science grade A* - C or equivalent standard (predicted) or 5 GCSE's including Maths, English, and a Science grade A* - C or equivalent standard (actual).
You will have an excellent attitude towards safe working, excellent IT skills, effective communication skills and the ability to follow procedures with a methodical approach.
You must have the logical ability to solve problems in a timely manner, and the ability to stay calm in difficult situations.
You will be able to demonstrate flexibility, adaptability and the ability to work as part of a team.
You must be self-driven and have an enthusiastic approach to work, a desire to succeed and a willingness to learn and listen.
You will also have a good timekeeping and attendance record, and must be able to carry out work in accordance with employer's health & safety guidelines.
You will also have the ability to pass a fork lift truck driving test.
The working hours are 37 per week.
TaskDescriptionThis is a fantastic opportunity to learn how to operate a production plant and machinery across all production areas.
In this busy and varied role you will work within a dedicated and experienced team to develop your knowledge of the chemical industry and production.
You will need to demonstrate the commitment to ensure safe working systems and practices are followed and to ensure personal compliance with all critical operational procedures.
You will be responsible for effective verbal and written communication between yourself and other members of the team to ensure precise and appropriate information is available as required.
You will also work with your team to identify opportunities for improvements in departmental safety, quality and production performance.
