  • You will have 5 GCSE's including Maths and English grade 4 - 9 and a Science grade A* - C or equivalent standard (predicted) or 5 GCSE's including Maths, English, and a Science grade A* - C or equivalent standard (actual).

  • You will have an excellent attitude towards safe working, excellent IT skills, effective communication skills and the ability to follow procedures with a methodical approach.

  • You must have the logical ability to solve problems in a timely manner, and the ability to stay calm in difficult situations.

  • You will be able to demonstrate flexibility, adaptability and the ability to work as part of a team.

  • You must be self-driven and have an enthusiastic approach to work, a desire to succeed and a willingness to learn and listen.

  • You will also have a good timekeeping and attendance record, and must be able to carry out work in accordance with employer's health & safety guidelines.

  • You will also have the ability to pass a fork lift truck driving test.

  • The working hours are 37 per week.

TaskDescriptionThis is a fantastic opportunity to learn how to operate a production plant and machinery across all production areas.

  • In this busy and varied role you will work within a dedicated and experienced team to develop your knowledge of the chemical industry and production.

  • You will need to demonstrate the commitment to ensure safe working systems and practices are followed and to ensure personal compliance with all critical operational procedures.

  • You will be responsible for effective verbal and written communication between yourself and other members of the team to ensure precise and appropriate information is available as required.

  • You will also work with your team to identify opportunities for improvements in departmental safety, quality and production performance.
