We are currently seeking a Customer Care Pricing Administrator in one of our Customer Care hub locations (Charlotte, NC, Wyandotte, MI, Florham Park, NJ).
Customer Care Pricing Administrator (1701571)
Formula for Success: You Will…
Facilitate the pricing activities for Customers which includes managing the interface with SAP to update Customer pricing during price increases; handle price discrepancies; and clearly communicate pricing changes to CCC and Customer.
Proactively communicate with businesses to insure accurate price, including effective dates are received and loaded at the right level, with the right conditions in a timely manner to enable efficiency and adeptness in operational pricing process.
Coordinate pricing communications between Sales and the internal support functions such as Marketing, Product Management and Customer Care.
Run reports to identify all open sales orders that could be impacted by upcoming price changes and complete all required updates prior to effective date.
Conduct periodic analysis of all price records and proactively communicate unit of measure and margin issues or expiring pricing to responsible parties.
Map sales activity to relationship of price record
Conduct Target versus Limit and Volume over Value analysis and provide recommendations on steps to drive margin improvement
Ensure zero defect of problems introduced by our Pricing process.
Support the roll out and use of PMM
Test plans for all SAP and other releases performed during the year. Also develop project and test plans for all new global and regional pricing functionality implemented.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
Ingredients for Success: What We Look For in You…
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 5 years of experience in Customer Care, Sales, Marketing or related field OR High School Diploma/Equivalent and minimum of 9 years of experience in Customer Care, Sales, Marketing or related field is required.
Strong Microsoft Office skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint required.
Must have experience in data analysis such as with sales reports and the ability to interpret, pursue data gaps and present data in various forms.
Excellent written, oral and communication skills and be adept at building relationships with multiple internal and external functions / resources and at all levels.
Individuals must have strong initiative, be results-oriented, have excellent influencing / impact skills and able to set priorities and make independent decisions.
The ability to interface clearly with customers and the sales team with outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
Price Margin Management (PMM) knowledge a plus.
