You will be working with the BASF Research and Commercial Development team and various industry partners to develop Agricultural products to meet the needs of Canadian growers. As a member of our team you will be required to support the research program within Alberta including seeding, spraying, and harvest of various crops in our research program. An understanding of agronomy, pesticides and farming practices is a must. It is also required that you are able to operate and maintain farm machinery. Experience will be gained in crop production, trial methodology, weed, insect and disease identification and evaluation techniques.
Bachelor of Science
Enthusiastic, Self-Motivated and work well in a team setting
Have a desire to gain experience in crop production, trial methodology and pest ID.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Understanding of agricultural practices and farm machinery is an asset.
*Valid Driver’s License is mandatory
