Where the Chemistry Happens…
We are seeking a Production Support Supervisor to join our team and who would supervise, direct and coach site Production Coordinators in the overall utilization of the SAP Manufacturing System, the SAP Department on production reporting and review, and the Payroll Department on understanding the SAPHR system and local union contract to record accurate payable hours.

You will use your systems knowledge to complete system database maintenance and provide training to shop floor personnel to improve their expertise in use of these systems.
You will also support Operations in the following: monitoring production schedules, designing reporting to monitor production efficiency, support Production Coordinators in the compilation of variance analyses, yield, on-stream time, inventory, resource usage, labor hours, and other areas as needed to manage or improve operations, Site SPASS and BASIS Coordinator which maintains databases for new and existing products.
Formula for Success: You Will…
Provide guidance and leadership to Production Coordinators to ensure accuracy of information. Maintain databases for new and existing products, and provide analysis of production related information for production management/supervision and line personnel.
Oversee plant floor reporting SAP system and direct Production Coordinators in improving plant floor reporting.
Ensure timely and accurate production order closure and variance analysis by working with Production Coordinators and SAP Dept. to classify, reconcile, analyze, consolidate and/or summarize production related information for Operations management/ supervision and line personnel.
Serve as site SPASS and BASIS Coordinator for SAP master file maintenance to ensure consistency and compliance with local and company standards.
Supervise Production Coordinators in logistics around raw material and intermediate deliveries to ensure production schedule is met.
Maintain compliance to local weekly cycle count program by managing routine audits of inventoried material for accuracy.
Assist in directing the hourly workforce on an as needed basis.
Provide SAP system expertise and leadership to facilitate and develop change initiatives to maximize manufacturing operations.
Provide payroll supervision along with understanding the local union contract and SAPHR system
Support ZIM (Zero Incident Mindset), JTE Program, and RMCS
Support (internal and external) and reconciliation for the Custom business with monthly inventory and quarterly analysis.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…
Bachelor’s in business or technical discipline
10 years of progressive work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Significant experience with manufacturing reporting systems; SAP experience a plus
Team player with a strong work ethic and a solid understanding of the cause/effect relationship of production transactions coupled with technical analytical skills
