Where the Chemistry Happens…
We are seeking a Project Management Office (PMO) Coordinator to support Freeport Site Engineering by ensuring compliance and enabling continuous improvement in project execution throughout the site. Although this manifests itself in many forms, most focus primarily on collection, analysis, and dissemination of data, both within Site Engineering and to site and business leadership and stakeholders. This position is necessary to standardize and improve consistency, as well as drive efficiency, effectiveness, and continuous quality improvement within the engineering organization.
The selected candidate will serve as the conduit between the PMO, Site Engineering, and other departments.
Project Management Office Coordinator (1701334) – Freeport, TX
Formula for Success: You Will…
Manage the Portfolio database of all capital projects within North America and provide training and assistance to new users throughout the region, as necessary.
Support Site Engineering’s transition to enhanced cost and milestone reporting within SAP, both through direct interface, and by training Project Engineers to set up and maintain projects within this system.
Collaborate with all Site Engineering Project Engineers to produce and distribute the site-wide Monthly Capital Projects Report to all business and engineering stakeholders.
Manage the Project Management Office SharePoint site.
Collect, analyze, track, and publish key performance indicators for Site Engineering capital project performance and the Project Management Office’s impact on capital project execution efficiency and effectiveness.
Collect, analyze, and distribute capital project lessons learned within Site Engineering. Track cost overruns and missed milestones to determine actionable trends.
Support the Project Management Office in the creation and implementation of new tools and processes to support Site Engineering.

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…
Associate’s degree required with a minimum of 5 years of experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
Excellent working knowledge of SAP Enterprise System and the Procurement and Engineering functions within it.
Working knowledge of accounting and cost control principles as they relate to capital projects, would serve as a differentiator.
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Demonstrated capability in database management, including report development and generation.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and to influence others to accomplish tasks.
Ability and willingness to drive change and challenge/improve existing processes.
Strong organization and work process management skills.
This position requires all candidates to either currently possess or obtain and maintain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) Card from the U. S. Department of Homeland Security.
