What you can expect

Deutsche Nanoschicht GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of BASF New Business GmbH, is currently building up a technical center for 3D printing at the Innovation Lab in Heidelberg.

  • Through various experiments, tests and procedures, you will participate in work on projects in the field of 3D printing in order to support this process.

  • You will operate, service and maintain the 3D printers, check and monitor quality and take samples.

  • To ensure all of the technical aspects, you will establish interfaces between customers, external partners and BASF.

  • In addition, you will collect, maintain and analyze process data in order to interpret properties between 3D printed parts, materials used and formulations.

  • You will take care to ensure a clean, hygienic working area in the process.

What we expect

  • You have completed a formal vocational training program as a plastics molding technician or chemistry lab assistant or have a bachelor's degree in a similar field and have laboratory experience.

  • Alongside knowledge of chemical or physical processes for plastics, you are familiar with 3D printing.

  • You are also accustomed to working in an international environment.

  • On a personal level, you are able to contribute as part of a team in order to achieve successes together.

  • Your profile is completed by the ability to view needs and requirements from the customer's point of view.
