  • You have earned a degree in biology (zoology, ecotoxicology or ecology) or in a related field, preferably with PhD.

  • Ideally, you have already gained some experience in regulatory sciences as well as in the field of terrestrial arthropods in general or honeybees.

  • Besides your profound experience in project management, you are able to present results and lead discussions professionally.

  • You have experience in handling and evaluating big data sets.

  • You are well acquainted with the standard IT applications and are versed in using your excellent English language skills on a daily basis at work.

  • In addition to driving innovations and sustainable solutions, you also collaborate for achievements and communicate effectively.

TaskDescriptionYou are part of the unit Global Ecotoxicology and will work on diverse aspects of regulatory ecotoxicology.

  • You will direct and evaluate ecotoxicological studies with terrestrial organisms following international guidelines and up-to-date scientific standards.

  • Based on the results, you will generate risk assessments for BASF products (crop protection products and biocides).

  • In addition, you will be involved in the development of innovative solutions, assume project responsibility and communicate results to national and international governmental authorities as well as to the scientific community.

  • You will guarantee the efficient and strategic use of external suppliers.

  • Beyond that, you will develop and implement new ideas, concepts and approaches.
