What you can expect

In the position of Controller within the Charging Processes & Tools unit, you will assume a global governance role for end-to-end processes within the area of service charging with an eye to the future strategies of BASF and will review these on an ongoing basis.

  • As a capable subject-specific expert, you will advise the team and the Team Leader on issues relating to services and processes and will take appropriate measures to ensure that the knowledge necessary for the provision of services is available to the team in current form at all times.

  • You will maintain close relations with our partners, dealing with their concerns and requests with regard to the IPM processes, developing and documenting approaches to possibly arrive at solutions and ensuring the implementation thereof.

  • You will share responsibility with the Process Owners for the quality of documentation and compliance with charging processes and will implement suitable corrective actions as needed.

  • As the main point of contact with regard to level-3 charging processes, you will work with the IPM Experts to ensure the process result and will review the associated interfaces and the corresponding responsibilities.

  • You will play a major role in the further development, evolution and optimization of the charging processes and associated systems.

What we expect

  • You have a degree in business administration with a focus on finance / controlling or in business informatics with a focus on data models / ERP / controlling.

  • After earning your degree, you have amassed relevant professional experience in controlling, preferably in an IT environment.

  • You are a proficient user of the standard MS Office applications and of SAP R/3 PS, CO and SAP BW.

  • Alongside excellent analytical skills, you are distinguished by your determination and orientation toward goals and by excellent German and English language skills.

  • Your highly developed communication skills mean that it is easy for you to provide open and constructive feedback in order to achieve the best possible results together with the team. In the process, you always keep the interests of customers in mind as well.
