What you can expect

For our Planning, Reporting & Analytics unit, you will function as the first point of contact for the management and will advise the management on subjects of all kinds relating to controlling. One of the major tasks is the coordination as well as compilation of divisional reports.

  • You will coordinate and consolidate global budgeting and forecasts of the main cost drivers and services of the operational unit.

  • You will participate in preparing global reporting for financial management key indicators and provide support in the case of strategic measures and service transitions for the unit.

  • In addition, you will provide support during integrated business planning and service calculations and with managing correct service charging.

  • You will identify potential for optimization in reports, processes and systems, make suggestions for improvement and implement these on your own responsibility.

  • You have a comprehensive understanding of the requirements on the management’s side and will take them into account in your day-to-day work.

What we expect

  • You hold a degree in business and economics with a focus on accounting/controlling.

  • You have several years of professional experience in controlling, which you have ideally been able to amass within a BASF Group company or in an international environment.

  • An analytical and controlling-technical understanding is necessary to analyze cost developments of the division that will be used as results to upper management.

  • You have a rapid grasp of new information relating to business administration contexts.

  • You master your tasks in both German and English and are a proficient user of the MS Office applications and SAP R/3, especially in the FI, PS and CO modules and in SAP Business Warehouse.

  • You are distinguished by an independent working style and personal responsibility and by your enjoyment of working within a team and have excellent communication skills.
