You are in an advanced stage of your studies of chemistry or in a related field with a focus on polymer science at a European university.
You are known for your great study results and your extra-curricular commitment.
Your English language skills are very good and you have already had the chance to gather practical experience in the industry as well as abroad.

TaskDescriptionDuring this 6-months internship, starting in 2017, you will support the work of our Technology and Development department in Southfield (USA), by applying polymer science to graphic art industry.
You will contribute to formulation development for printing links or Liquid Applied Sound Damping (LASD) and to evaluation of acrylic or polyurethane polymer properties.
You will measure ink properties, such as viscosity and lamination bond strength.
You will record and report application tests as well as the analysis of your results.
Furthermore, you will perform calibration and maintain lab equipment in optimal conditions following the standard operation procedures.
