  • You are in an advanced stage of your studies of chemistry or in a related field with a focus on polymer science at a European university.

  • You are known for your great study results and your extra-curricular commitment.

TaskDescriptionDuring this 6-months internship, starting in 2017, you will support the work of our Technology and Development department in Southfield (USA), by applying polymer science to graphic art industry.

  • You will contribute to formulation development for printing links or Liquid Applied Sound Damping (LASD) and to evaluation of acrylic or polyurethane polymer properties.

  • You will measure ink properties, such as viscosity and lamination bond strength.

  • You will record and report application tests as well as the analysis of your results.

  • Furthermore, you will perform calibration and maintain lab equipment in optimal conditions following the standard operation procedures.

  • You have the chance to participate in cultural activities together with your new colleagues.
