  • You combine your in-depth knowledge of thermodynamics and thermal separation technology skillfully with experience in process simulation.

TaskDescriptionThe Conceptual Process Engineering group offers a broad range of services in the area of conceptual design and revision of production processes. This includes development of process engineering concepts for plants and equipment.

  • In the position of Process Engineer, you will be responsible for our worldwide investment projects right from the start.

  • You will simulate and optimize the processes involved and will perform technological and economic assessments of process concepts and alternatives.

  • You will use modern simulation tools such as Aspen and/or CHEMASIM to do this.

  • With the aid of model-based optimization processes, you will make methodological adjustments and expansions involving these programs.

  • You will work actively and on your own initiative within interdisciplinary project teams in the BASF engineering network.
