What you can expect

Our Reaction Technology unit optimizes reactions and the design of reactors.

  • Working within an international team, you will simulate, model and optimize single-phase and multiphase chemical reactors.

  • You will define, initiate and manage projects as well as process developments.

  • You will monitor and support planning and evaluation of experiments and testing from the lab up to the pilot plant scale.

  • You will be responsible for the design of chemical reactors for new plants and will optimize existing reaction stages.

  • You will maintain a network of contacts with operational units and scientific and research partners and will keep abreast of new methods, market trends and activities of competitors.

What we expect

  • You have a degree in process engineering, chemical engineering or technical chemistry, on which you earned above-average marks, and have gone on to earn a doctorate.

  • You can demonstrate specialized knowledge of reaction technology and in the field of heat transfer and transport of substances in reactive systems.

  • You actively contribute your expertise and ideas in order to achieve goals together and advance processes of change.

  • You enjoy developing creative solutions and drive for innovation.
