What you can expect

We are looking for a candidate to join us in this position within the Analytics competence center as soon as possible and lead a team of committed, highly qualified colleagues from our Bioanalytics & Physical Characterization group, which deals with all aspects of analyzing samples of biological origin.

  • In this role, you will work on biological and analytical challenges as part of research projects within an interdisciplinary team.

  • As an expert in the field of analysis of natural substances, metabolites, proteins and fermentation samples, you will work with your partners from research, development and technology to develop solutions and will communicate these solutions.

  • You will actively advance the innovation process with your own project ideas.

  • In addition to leading a research lab, you will also be responsible for managing your employees in subject-specific terms.

  • You will be responsible for compliance with occupational health, safety and environmental rules and regulations within your area of work.

What we expect

  • You have a doctorate in chemistry/physics/biology or pharmacy, on which you earned above-average marks, or have years of experience that have given you equivalent qualifications.

  • Through your training and education or professional experience, you have acquired solid skills and knowledge in bioanalysis and the latest analytical methods.

  • You are a proficient user of the standard computer applications and are accustomed to mastering your tasks in both German and English.

  • You are also impressive for your determination and orientation toward goals, your strengths include not only a focus on customers, but also teamwork and communication skills, which you use to lead your employees to success, among other things.
