RESPONSIBILITIES
Support us as an IP Manager by advising our research and development projects with analyses as well as assessments of the state of the art and the competitive environment.
Therefore, you will identify and promote inventions for the generation of your own intellectual property rights to ensure the long-term competitive advantage of trinamiX.
You will be responsible for initiating and managing invention harvesting projects to identify and protect patentable developments as well as technology trends.
Furthermore, you will review invention disclosures and support our development team in their preparation.
Together with the central patent unit, you will work on patent applications based on invention disclosures and accompany the patent examination and grant procedures.
You will develop IP strategies in the IP team together with our R&D department as well as the central patent unit and implement them accordingly.
Last but not least, you will manage a large area of our IP portfolio in closer coordination within the IP team and identify focal points as well as areas for expansion.
QUALIFICATIONS
PhD in natural science as well as professional experience in the field of IP management
experience with optical technologies and software/algorithms
Know-how in dealing with patent rights and patent distribution procedures is an advantage
enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation
effective communication in German and English, as well as a careful way of working
