You have a degree (M.Sc. or Diploma) in the area of theoretical/physical chemistry, physics, mathematics or engineering and have ideally gone on to earn a Ph.D.
You have already gained experience in the development of mathematical and physical models and in implementing these models in technical terms via computers.
You have good knowledge of the programming language C++, object-oriented programming and the development of graphical user interfaces.
You apply your highly developed communication skills on a targeted basis, including in English.
On a personal level, you impress with your high level of personal initiative and focus on innovation and your ability to achieve successes as part of a team.
TaskDescriptionWe are looking for a candidate to join our team as soon as possible as a scientist in colorimetry in our Global Coatings Technology Research unit, located in Münster.
After thorough training in the field of colorimetry, you will develop methods and processes for colorimetric process control and process management during the production and application of coatings.
You will also expand on our existing software applications.
In addition, you will prepare mathematical and physical models to characterize optical characteristics of pigments and coating structures.
You will develop methods for analyzing and interpreting data that are collected by advanced appearance measuring tools.
