RESPONSIBILITIES
In our unit we are looking for a Senior Manager Projects Contracts and Negotiation.
In this role you will be responsible for managing, supervising and executing the business unit's global strategic commercial deals and working on the interface between legal and business aspects of a deal.
Furthermore, you will manage and coordinate cross-functional project teams, including business, finance, operations, legal in the evaluation and execution of strategic commercial opportunities, including due diligence, negotiations, transaction documentation and final approvals.
You will coordinate and lead negotiations in key strategic commercial deals.
In addition, you will analyze potential project targets, partnership and/or investment opportunities to accelerate our growth plans, including undertaking industry research and strategic due diligence on companies.
Consulting the business unit in setting up the end-to-end battery recycling business from a legal and compliance perspective in cooperation with BASF's Legal and Compliance department with a special emphasis creating supply partnership opportunities is also part of your work.
QUALIFICATIONS
minimum of 5 years of post-qualified legal experience in private practice at a law firm (or as in-house legal counsel in a reputable international company) in the areas of Corporate Law and/or Commercial Law (focus on M&A preferred)
strong project planning, communication and coordination skills
interest to grow into a hybrid legal/commercial role
high willingness, commitment and a careful way of working
willingness to travel
