RESPONSIBILITIES

In our unit we are looking for a Senior Manager Projects Contracts and Negotiation.

  • In this role you will be responsible for managing, supervising and executing the business unit's global strategic commercial deals and working on the interface between legal and business aspects of a deal.

  • Furthermore, you will manage and coordinate cross-functional project teams, including business, finance, operations, legal in the evaluation and execution of strategic commercial opportunities, including due diligence, negotiations, transaction documentation and final approvals.

  • You will coordinate and lead negotiations in key strategic commercial deals.

  • In addition, you will analyze potential project targets, partnership and/or investment opportunities to accelerate our growth plans, including undertaking industry research and strategic due diligence on companies.

  • Consulting the business unit in setting up the end-to-end battery recycling business from a legal and compliance perspective in cooperation with BASF's Legal and Compliance department with a special emphasis creating supply partnership opportunities is also part of your work.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • minimum of 5 years of post-qualified legal experience in private practice at a law firm (or as in-house legal counsel in a reputable international company) in the areas of Corporate Law and/or Commercial Law (focus on M&A preferred)

  • strong project planning, communication and coordination skills

  • interest to grow into a hybrid legal/commercial role

  • high willingness, commitment and a careful way of working

  • willingness to travel
