Where the Chemistry Happens…
We are seeking a Regional Service Center Manager who will be responsible for the management of the Northeast Regional Service Center (RSC) while providing technical and project support to approximately 10-15 sites within the region. The individual will plan, manage, coordinate, and execute all internal and external resources involved in the delivery of engineering support services and project execution to sites in the Northeast Region.

Formula for Success: You Will…
Provide leadership and talent development support to Northeast RSC team members while motivating them to reach their fullest potential.
Manage all regional activities while supporting other sides outside of the region upon request.
Oversee third-party engineering provider services for functions managed by the Service Center.
Serve as the primary contact between supported sites and the broader BASF technical community.
Build and maintain relationships with technical groups inside and outside the region to deliver best-in-class and cost-effective solutions to clients.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; a degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering and/or a Registered Professional Engineering license a plus.
A minimum of 10 years of experience within Engineering, Construction, Maintenance and/or Process Improvement functions within a chemical or process plant environment, combined with at least 5 years of managerial and leadership experience.
Solid background in Capital Execution and Chemical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering required; Direct Capital Project Management experience desired.
Strong customer focus orientation and strategic communication skills.
Ability to work autonomously within a virtual environment with minimal direct managerial oversight.
