We are currently searching for a motivated Global Marketing Manager, with excellent agri-marketing and proven strategic skills, for our Crop Protection business (AP) in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.

Global Marketing Manager Insecticides (1700290)

As a Global Marketing Manager, you will join the Global Marketing Team for Insecticides, and report to the Vice President of Marketing, Insecticides. Your responsibility will include managing several global active ingredients for crop protection products. You will also lead the Insecticide Strategy development for the business unit, and assist in the target setting for new market opportunities.

Formula for Success: You Will…

  • Lead multifunctional teams

  • Establish and manage 3rd Party relationships

  • Work closely with Regional Marketing teams to maximize the opportunities for active ingredients in each of the regions

  • Contribute to Cross-Functional or Crop teams focused on the development of integrated approaches to customers in the agricultural chemical market

  • Participate in acquisition and divestment initiatives when requested

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Ingredients for Success: What We Look For in You…

  • Bachelor's Degree (Business, Biology, Chemistry, Entomology, Agriculture or Related Field)

  • 10 years of professional work experience (i.e.: Sales, Marketing and/or Agricultural) and/or Post Graduate Schooling experience

  • 5 years of progressive sales and marketing experience, with demonstrated competency in strategic and analytical thinking

  • Experience working professionally in a cross-cultural, global environment

  • High degree of independence and self-motivation

  • Ability to work across organizational and country boundaries

  • Willing and able to travel up to 30% internationally

We Also Look For…

  • MBA

  • Agribusiness experience, with focus on insecticides

  • Fluency in a second language
