We are looking for a candidate to join our Global Foliar Biologicals Research and Development (R&D) team in RTP, NC.

Scientist II, Foliar Biologicals (1702501) – Research Triangle Park, NC

As a Scientist II, Foliar Biologicals, you will run lab and greenhouse work for the identification, evaluation, and development of biological technologies that complement our pipeline of next generation foliar biologicals products.

Formula for Success: You Will…

  • Have strong experimental planning and coordination skills to perform lab and greenhouse microbiology and bioinsecticides (entomology) experiments

  • Have laboratory infrastructure and equipment planning work experience

  • Have robust analytical skills and strong attention to detail

  • Collaborate with an international and interdisciplinary project team to develop new products based on local market needs

  • Listen, communicate, and network effectively with regional and global R&D teams to leverage technical expertise and drive innovation

  • Have R&D training, knowledge, and experience to perform lab and greenhouse testing

  • Confirm suitability of new technologies to meet existing, emerging, and potential future market needs

  • Observe and promote safe work practices while performing job duties

Ingredients for Success: What We Look For in You…

  • MS in Entomology or Microbiology with 2 years of professional work experience in an entomology / microbiology laboratory – OR - BS in Entomology or Microbiology with 4 years of professional experience in an entomology / microbiology laboratory

  • Fluency in English

  • Solid written and verbal presentation skills, with ability to effectively use MS Office Suite

  • Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time

  • A self-starter and problem solver; Confident communicator with teambuilding skills; Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

We Also Look For…

  • Experience working as part of a global team

  • Fluency in additional languages other than English

  • Experience planning and coordinating experiments with molecular biology
