Are you ready to make a big impact in the world of agriculture? We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Soy Crop System Traits Marketing Manager to launch and manage our new Soy Cyst Nematode Trait in North America. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the launch and commercialization strategy and efforts for this innovative product, shaping the future of sustainable farming.

As a Trait Technology Launch Manager - Soy, You Create Chemistry By...

• Acting as the launch strategy owner for North America, leading the charge in demand creation, market development, and trait technical support for branded and out-licensed business channels.

• Leading mid-term planning and Must Wins for NRS brand management and launch within the region, shaping the success of our soy crop system traits in the market.

• Coordinating with other key internal and external groups to ensure the implementation of trait-marketing plans.

• Coordinating all trait messaging and thought leadership with Comms/Market Acceptance/Industry Affairs, playing a key role in preparing and developing the market, while managing and supporting key stakeholder groups.

• Becoming a trusted business consultation partner for Regional Strategic Marketing and US branded business, providing expertise on pricing, promotion, placement, and programming. Managing the promotional launch budget and marketing plan within 5% accuracy.

• Collaborating with Seed Treatment, Digital, and Crop Protection Marketing to create symbiotic crop system positioning that enables maximum demand for the SCN trait at the point of commercial launch.

• Striving to consistently motivate the BASF sales force and channel partners by keeping them informed about products, product performance, and our go-to-market strategy.

• Diving into market research and analysis, staying ahead of trends, threats, and market opportunities.

If you...

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Agronomy, or a related field. MBA or MS.

• Minimum of 8-10 years of work experience, with at least 7 years of combined marketing, sales, business development, and/or technical support experience.

• Experience with product launches.

• Experience in US Corn/Soy/Cotton Seed Business.

• Strong business acumen and ability to strategically analyze global factors and develop creative business plans.

• Launch strategy development and implementation.

• Familiarity with complex intellectual property rights and negotiations is preferred.

• Excellent leadership by influence and project management skills.

• Dynamic presentation skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to travel up to 25%, primarily domestically.
