Prepare cost analysis, coordinate shipping, and complete all paperwork for transportation of sweeps and bullion to outside refiners.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Update refining receivers in SAP, applying correct terms, settlement date, and entering precious metals estimate for forecasting purposes.

  • Prepare initial and final settlement worksheets in Excel database, based on customer’s requirements.

  • Coordinate PM shipments with corporate transportation.

  • Invoice divisional settlements on the SAP system.

  • Coordinate shipment of OSR material using international and BASF transportation guidelines.

  • Conduct assay exchange with OSR, insure timely metal return, and debit OSR pool account via SAP.

  • Record SAP transactions for all material movements between Seneca and internal BASF customers / tollers.

  • Record and track all OSR shipments / settlements.

  • Reconcile inventories at Toller’s and OSR’s.

  • Gather and prepare CCM Supply Chain KPI’s.

  • Generate weekly and/or monthly metal return summaries, metal yields, metal retention, and reserve dollar reports.

  • Month-end metal pricing reconciliation / daily entries.

  • Support annual physical data inventory.

  • Support / backup area planners through backlog and demand analysis.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


  • Adhere to established safety, health and environmental policies and procedures.

  • Participate in incident investigations.

  • Accomplish day-to-day and recurring EHS activities

  • Safety suggestions

  • Proactive hazard recognition and EHS issues

  • Attend and participate in Safety meetings

  • Waste management activities - etc.

  • Accountable for contributing to and maintaining an increasing number of customers.

  • Accountable for meeting customer’s responsiveness expectations through error-free service.

  • Accountable for contribution to on-time settlements.

  • Accountable for administrative support to the Refining Sales Team.

Basic qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, & PowerPoint)

  • SAP Transactions and record maintenance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Customer communications and support, transportation and purchase order document processing

  • Sales Forecasting

  • Thorough knowledge of Refinery Information System, SAP
