We are seeking a Lab Technician to join our team.
Formula for Success: You Will…
Follow production turnovers and perform all analysis and calibrations as required by the Quality System, as defined by the SOP‘s and Product Quality Plans for all Works 1 in-process and/or finish products.
Perform routine lab analysis using the standard procedures.
Recognizes test results which indicate a need for corrective action and is expected to provide corrective action.
Must notify process improvement team of corrective action taken and/or refer to them for further guidance.
Report all failures to Senior QC Chemist.
Record all test results on QSIS.
Capable of using QSIS/SAP information network.
To maintain safe and clean workstation and laboratory to 5S standard, whenever work is being carried out.

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…
BS/BA degree in Science with one or more total years of laboratory experience in this particular area.
Attendance record and performance issues to be important factors in progression to the next level.
Ability to handle simultaneous tasks.
Must be able to work rotating 12 hour shifts, with a 4 shift rotation.
The ability to work all levels of personnel, both inside and outside BASF Corporation..
