As an EPC Advanced Trainee for our Performance Materials business unit, you will create a meaningful career while supporting a division that is active in four major industry sectors – transportation, consumer goods, industrial applications, and construction. The division has a strong portfolio of products and services combined with a deep understanding of application-oriented system solutions.
The Wyandotte Engineering Plastics Compounding plant in particular operates twin screw extruders to provide engineering plastics compounds, primarily to TIER 2 suppliers in the automobile industry.
During your straight 12-hour night shift as a EPC Advanced Trainee you will…
Select, charge and mix raw materials
Set-up and operate compounding equipment
Participate in required training, both computer-based and through job shadowing with higher level technicians
Learn to execute tasks consistently and reliably, with a safety-first mindset
If you have...
High School Diploma/ GED
6 months of experience in manufacturing or other industrial environments
