QA/QC Coordinator (2100455) – Ames, IA

Where the Chemistry Happens

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated professional like you to join our Agricultural Solutions Operating Division. You will be working at our manufacturing facility located in Ames, IA.

As our QA/QC Coordinator, you will be a key contributor to the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) activities for our Ames, IA production site. You will develop and deliver quality related training, as well as coordinate our Quality Management System (QMS) internal audit program. You will also report on non-conformances related to raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods. This is an excellent opportunity for you to demonstrate your talents, including your laboratory experience and ability to distinguish colors.

Formula for Success

  • Utilizing your experience in Quality Systems/ISO 9001, you will generate/update QMS documentation (specifications, nonconformance records, MOCs, etc.).

  • Your strong computer skills, including experience with SAP or other ERP system, will be essential as you serve as a key administrator to our document control system.

  • Applying your strong interpersonal and organizational skills, you will track and report on department key performance indicators (KPI).

  • Leveraging your education in Chemistry, Microbiology or a related field and your experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control and/or in a manufacturing environment, you will coordinate and investigate non-conformances.

  • Demonstrating your strong attention to detail and experience you’ve gained in a manufacturing environment, you will act as back-up support for inspection of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods using established methods.

  • Relying on your previous leadership experience, you will coordinate QC activities related to aged inventory.

  • Your ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the business will serve you well as you assist in additional administrative roles including departmental interactions for PMs, COAs, and Purchasing.
