We are seeking a Key Account Manager to be the point of contact to our key customers, reporting to the Sales Manager.
National Accounts Manager (1904064) - Amherst, NY
You will be responsible for the development and sales of identified accounts within the United States to achieve sales, margin, and profit objectives. You will collaborate with National Sales Managers to achieve company goals.
Formula for Success: You Will…
Develop, maintain and continuously improve your business plan targets to execute the strategy for the WBAC bridge business. Deliver growth and defined profitability in North America.
Maintain relationships and have constant contact with top strategic customers, including all affiliate offices as applicable, to ensure a consistent message is delivered on the value of working with WBAC.
Implement and manage specific customer strategy initiatives as they apply to the role and assigned key accounts.
Provide a continuous overview of business results, market trends, competitive challenges and economic indicators that will affect the performance of your market area and the company.
Interface with all departments within WBAC to continuously improve business processes and resolve issues of service, product availability and product quality for customers.
Complete all work in conformance with Company and Department ISO 9001 policies, procedures, and work instructions.
Work to and support a safety culture of zero incident mindset.
A Bachelor’s Degree is required, an MBA is preferred.
Minimum five (5) years of progressive commercial management required; a strong background and demonstrated results in sales strongly preferred.
Understanding of the construction industry and experience working with Specifiers, Contractors, and Owners preferred.
Demonstrated experience with solving customer problems, value drivers and how products and systems are sold into end user markets required.
Track record of success in implementing top line and profit growth plans and managing change in current or past roles.
Demonstrated capability of working alongside and leading employees to success.
Conceptual thinker and change agent; results-oriented; not afraid to take-charge and communicates well at all levels inside and out of the organization.
Strong business acumen with a solid foundation for market fundamentals.
High level of tolerance for ambiguity including a willingness to take calculated risks and implement novel market approaches.
Strong skills in work-product organization, action plan development, time management, project management, meeting facilitation, and relationship building (networking, team building and conflict resolution).
Self-motivated, customer-focused & resourceful individual with strong follow through.
Excellent communication (written & verbal), presentation, interpersonal, and people management skills.
Support and adhere to all environmental, health and safety rules and regulations as described in the Environmental Health and Safety Rules and Regulations.
