Production Supervisor (1803150) – Battle Creek, MI

Where the Chemistry Happens…

In this role, you will provide daily supervision to the Operations Process staff to achieve company objectives in Volume and Quality. You will work in tandem with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure the plant is run in an efficient and effective manner. You will also supervise the production function, ensuring all production operations run smoothly and in compliance with quality, environmental, and safety standards.

Battle Creek, MI is a joint venture site between BASF and Toda America (BTA)

  • Leveraging your knowledge and understanding of personnel management, you will determine team work schedules to meet production needs and assign overtime as necessary.

  • Your strong commitment to workplace safety will be a valued asset as you maintain safe operation within plant procedures in accordance with EHS regulations, company policy, and legal requirements, as well as ensuring safe maintenance of unit equipment using established safety procedures.

  • Your leadership experience will be a plus as you provide direction to Team Leaders on a regular basis and review and agree to prioritization of work orders and project schedules.

  • As a role model, you will motivate team members to engage in safe and efficient operations, and perform unit inspections, self-assessments, and issue corrective actions when situations warrant.
