Customer Care Account Specialist (1802799) – Beachwood, OH

Under the direct supervision of the Customer Care Manager, this position is responsible for the entire order fulfillment process. The successful candidate will work 9am-6pm to understand and follow defined Customer Care processes and procedures and serve as the BASF primary point of contact for customers.
Formula for Success
Leveraging your educational and professional background in Supply Chain Management or Logistics, you will manage complex projects and timelines for Customer Care including organizing clear key deliverables, establishing and meeting deadlines, action item management and resolution, information sharing with stakeholders, decision-making, collaboration, and final presentation.
Your strong ability to interact with the customer in a helpful and friendly manner and to understand customer needs will be a valued asset as you develop and maintain customer relationships for high-profile accounts for North American customer base, including Canada.
Your knowledge and understanding of supply chain processes and materials planning will be essential as you manage order to cash process activities such as expediting, basic returns, back order monitoring, sample and zero-dollar orders, consignment order process, and removing obstacles that may impact customer requirements and BASF’s ability to satisfy them.
Your experience with Non-Conformance Management (NCM) measures will be a plus as you execute the process, including investigation and reporting.
As a role model, you will coordinate orientation for new hires, and serve as a mentor to your peers.
