Regional Product Launch Manager (2000447) – Beachwood, OH

Where the Chemistry Happens

The Regional Product Launch Manager is responsible for developing regional “go-to-market” strategies, for initially implementing those strategies and illustrating success. Be part of a global team to increase growth of entrepreneurial solutions into our non-traditional markets. This position will be responsible for proving out concepts with tangible value prior to incorporating into our existing businesses. The position would work closely with a global lead, but will report to the manager, Strategic Development in North America. Role will have travel (estimated 25-50% based on maturity of plan) and have a mixture of sales and non-financial targets.

Main tasks

  • Actively contribute on a global technology launch team and achieve its objectives in the NA region.

  • Create actions to establish the NA regional go-to-market plan in alignment with the global team and to achieve its deliverables.

  • Create actions to clarify regional value proposition, positioning, and relevant tools for success

  • Identify prioritized customers, call on them and generate sales.

  • Clarify challenges to success and recommend actions to overcome.

  • Act strategically, as regional technical competence champion

  • Create actions to ensure NA processes allow for success of launch objectives (e.g., supply chain, communications, EHS, etc)

  • Be the technical and application expert in the region on the launched technology

  • Manage project plans and regularly communicate status to management

  • Create actions to train & build competence in local teams – as opportunities grow

Experience / Qualifications

  • B.S./B.E. and 7 years relevant experience / or M.S./M.E./M.B.A. and 5 years relevant experience

  • Relevant education : business, engineering or science field.

  • Relevant experience: at least 5 years working in a construction related field. Experience with flooring and building envelope technologies preferred. Experience developing marketing plans, managing project plans and experience selling value
