Where the chemistry happens…
We are seeking a professional like you to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for timely production of quality products in a safe, cost-efficient, and environmentally responsible manner by coordinating, planning, and setting the direction of the production team. This will be done with strong leadership and a good understanding of the process and related technologies.
Your strong communication and organizational skills will be used to communicate and focus the shift(s) and support teams on the goals and targets established to coordinate and execute production and maintenance activities. Your passion for excellence will drive continuous improvement in day-to-day operations and ensure production processes comply with all applicable requirements. Your strong leadership skills will be essential to managing both direct and indirect reports. You will work closely with an operations manager who is responsible for planning, budgeting, and driving strategic continuous improvement activities (Capital, Reliability, OpEx) for the department.
As a Dicamba Production Execution Manager You Create Chemistry By...
• Being accountable for all aspects of production in accordance with Safety, Environmental, and Quality requirements.
• Coaching, developing, motivating, removing barriers for, and challenge team members in support of a high-performance organization and to comply with BASF’s corporate values of Creative, Open, Responsible, and Entrepreneurial behavior.
• Implementing the incident investigation process including investigation, root cause analysis, action items, documentation, and follow-up for incidents.
• Leading cross-functional teams to drive EHS, LEAN manufacturing, and continuous improvement activities for the benefit of the Dicamba plant and Beaumont site.
• Providing technical and administrative guidance to operations, maintenance, and other areas of the business in support of the production plan.
• Preparing and implementing succession plans, participating in recruiting, interviewing and selection of employees and conducting performance management reviews.

• Leveraging your educational background (technical degree preferred) and experience within a chemical manufacturing production environment (10+ years preferred).
• Unwavering commitment to workplace health and safety are critical.
• Proven ability to drive change and develop, implement, and manage sustainable programs.
• Strong technical skills, ability to solve complex problems will be a valued asset
• Your proven leadership skills will help you manage, support and communicate with >5 direct reports and >16 indirect reports.
