As a Senior Environmental Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies to minimize environmental impact and ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and standards. The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders.

Developing and implementing environmental strategies, policies, and procedures to minimize the company's environmental impact.
Conducting environmental impact assessments and audits to identify potential risks and recommend mitigation measures. As well as ensuring compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and standards.
Monitoring and evaluate the effectiveness of environmental programs and initiatives.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental considerations into business operations and providing guidance and support to project teams on environmental issues and requirements.
Staying updated on emerging environmental trends, technologies, and regulations.
Conducting training sessions to raise awareness and promote environmental best practices among employees.
Preparing and submitting environmental reports and permit applications to regulatory agencies as required.
Representing the company in environmental meetings, conferences, and industry events.
If you...
Hold a bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. A masters degree is preferred.
Have minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with a bachelors degree or 5+ years with a masters degree.
Have strong knowledge of local and international environmental regulations and standards.
Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Have a proven track record of successfully implementing environmental strategies and initiatives.
Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Are able to to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Are proficient in environmental management software, tools, and Microsoft Office products.
Have a professional certifications in environmental management (e.g., Certified Environmental Professional) isa plus.
Are able to travel domestically up to 10%
