As a Senior Environmental Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies to minimize environmental impact and ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and standards. The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders.

As a Senior Environmental Specialist - Beaumont, TX, You Create Chemistry By...

  • Developing and implementing environmental strategies, policies, and procedures to minimize the company's environmental impact.

  • Conducting environmental impact assessments and audits to identify potential risks and recommend mitigation measures. As well as ensuring compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and standards.

  • Monitoring and evaluate the effectiveness of environmental programs and initiatives.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental considerations into business operations and providing guidance and support to project teams on environmental issues and requirements.

  • Staying updated on emerging environmental trends, technologies, and regulations.

  • Conducting training sessions to raise awareness and promote environmental best practices among employees.

  • Preparing and submitting environmental reports and permit applications to regulatory agencies as required.

  • Representing the company in environmental meetings, conferences, and industry events.

If you...

  • Hold a bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. A masters degree is preferred.

  • Have minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with a bachelors degree or 5+ years with a masters degree.

  • Have strong knowledge of local and international environmental regulations and standards.

  • Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Have a proven track record of successfully implementing environmental strategies and initiatives.

  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Are able to to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Are proficient in environmental management software, tools, and Microsoft Office products.

  • Have a professional certifications in environmental management (e.g., Certified Environmental Professional) isa plus.

  • Are able to travel domestically up to 10%
