What you can expect
In the position of as Financial Controller Intercompany Charges within our unit Controlling Services in Berlin, you are responsible for the process of calculation and allocation of overhead costs of corporate divisions (operating, regional and functional) within the global BASF group.
You will ensure a globally standardized calculation and allocation of cost amounts for the group companies, including cost allocation for specific cases e.g. contractual agreements and detailed attachments.
You will monitor, supervise and provide support for direct or indirect charging processes, drive awareness in the organization, offer knowledge transfer and identify training needs.
Regarding to the charging process and documentation BASF-wide, your activities will ensure compliant quality management e.g. regular review meetings, tracking of KPIs, reviews of documentation, etc.
You steer the charging volume and provide suggestions for optimizations as well as harmonizations.
In collaboration with other Shared Service Centers you will support and coordinate related regional processes.
What we expect
You hold a university degree in Economics and already gained several years of professional experiences in management accounting or controlling.
Alongside your strong communication skills in English (ideally in German as well), you convince through advanced presentation skills.
You are used to dealing with the in-house IT-programs, such SAP R/3 FI and CO.
At least sharing your knowledge with your colleagues, communicating clearly and openly while always keeping an eye on the company's goals, completes your profile
