What you can expect
As part of setting up our Mobility Services unit, we are looking for you as Global Travel Manager. Together with our partners inside and outside BASF we consult and support employees on business trips and international assignments. We offer business-driven and compliant mobility solutions to our Divisions and coordinate all global end-to-end services. Our goal is to deliver an engaging mobility experience to the best value of BASF.
You will be responsible for the entire travel management on a global level.
You will develop and manage the global travel strategy, service model and program initiatives, and set standards for business processes as well as workflows.
You will also be responsible for ensuring demand-oriented service delivery, digitization and system support.
You will create transparency for the relevant stakeholders with regard to travel costs and travel behavior.
You will be responsible for leading a local team as well as managing a team of travel professionals from around the world and coordinating the activities of the various service units (e.g. procurement, finance, IT, security, health, taxes).
You will manage the external service partners (e.g. travel agency, IT provider).
You will communicate with internal and external stakeholders and see yourself as a representative for all divisions, regions and service units.
