What you can expect
In our unit Cash Management & Master Data you will be responsible for the execution of FX derivatives and money market transactions in the Front office team.
In your new role, you will ensure effective and efficient execution of FX derivates and money market transactions via multiple platforms across EMEA.
Thereby, you ensure that executed transactions are compliant with the global Treasury guidelines and in accordance with the defined strategy.
Furthermore, you ensure continuous improvement of the front office processes and systems in order to increase the rate of straight through processing.
You have a deep understanding of the available instruments in the different markets, the applicable regulations as well as the market liquidity.
During your work you will design and execute new strategies to ensure competitive FX as well as financing options.
Together with the Middle Office team, you will prepare currency reports and market updates for our management and business units.
Apart from that, you are proactively involved in the global front office community and will share best practices as well as know-how within the regions and other HUBs.
What we expect
university degree with focus on Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related fields
proven practical experience in Finance, Controlling or the banking sector
excellent communication skills in English in order to convincingly convey complex interrelationships to stakeholders within BASF and to build stable relationships
