Located in the heart of Berlin, BASF Services Europe brings together an international team of around 1,700 colleagues, with over 50 different nationalities, working in our Finance, Controlling, HR and Procurement departments. The performance and expertise of over 200 of our BASF companies in the whole of Europe are collected together in our BASF Shared Service Centre.

What you can expect

In our international HR inquiry team, you will be the first point of contact for all employees of the BASF Group companies in Belgium and the Netherlands for questions regarding the topic of HR. Additionally, you will advise European BASF applicants during their application process.

  • You will advise clients by phone and mail, process inquiries independantly or in cooperation with other departments (i.e. Payroll, Personnel Administration, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, etc.).

  • You will take into account in-house regulations as well as collective agreements and legislation.

  • In addition, you will continuously optimize our service provided by maintaining and updating our knowledge database and actively supporting the exchange of information and experience amongst colleagues and relevant departments.

  • Furthermore, you will get the opportunity to participate in different projects and take on additional responsibility.

What we expect

  • You have successfully completed a vocational training and have ideally acquired initial experience in HR.

  • Highly motivated, you work accurately and can demonstrate your outstanding communication skills in Dutch, German and English. Knowledge of French is a plus.

  • Being a strong team player, you are able to actively engage with your colleagues. You are able to keep a level head in stressful situations and represent the BASF HR community.

  • An excellent multi-tasker you can manage and prioritize your wide range of tasks independently and have the ability to stay well-organized under pressure.

  • Alongside a strong and proactive customer-oriented approach, you adapt easily to a fast-changing work environment and take personal initiatives.

  • You are willing to work with alternating shifts Monday through Friday between 7:45 am and 5 pm.
