What you can expect

As part of setting up our new team People Data & Engagement Services we are looking for several new colleagues.

  • As a (Senior) Specialist within our team you will be responsible for coordinating the annual global people planning process as part of BASF's global operational planning process.

  • You will work closely with Corporate Finance (CF) as overall process owner and the divisional HR community as responsible for the Headcount (HC) planning of the divisions.

  • You form and lead a community of HC planning representatives of the divisions and ensure the appropriate information flow as well as data quality, plausibility check inputs and question planning ambitions.

  • Furthermore you will also identify, evaluate and reconcile budget adjustments with CF and feed this back to the divisions.

  • You will prepare presentations and provide data insights to top management (up to board level).

  • Finally, you will ensure smooth execution of the monthly 'Structural Change Requirements Process' and work closely with CF and HC planning representatives.

What we expect

  • degree or equivalent, preferably in business administration, human resources, finance or similar relevant field

  • professional experience in an HR role dealing with HC planning aspects, or a comparable role in finance or controlling

  • profound knowledge and understanding of planning processes

  • service orientation, structured as well as self-motivated approach to work

  • ability to effectively communicate complex issues with different stakeholders in German and English language
