What you can expect
As Scientist for Dangerous Goods Classification you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with international dangerous goods regulations and for the classification of dangerous and non-dangerous goods.
You will ensure the legal compliance of dangerous goods in relation to the legislation of national and international authorities.
You will be responsible for the classification of dangerous goods and non-dangerous goods according to the legislation for the individual transport paths.
This includes the determination of the packing group and UN number according to the legal requirements.
Monitoring the development of dangerous goods regulations and influencing them are further parts of your job.
In addition, you will conduct analyses of current and historical data on dangerous goods classification.
What we expect
completed master's degree with a scientific or chemical-technical background or comparable training
first professional experience in the field of dangerous goods management are from advantage
comprehensive knowledge of international laws, guidelines and industry standards on the subject of dangerous goods
proactive approach to identifying and implementing new regulatory changes
very good language skills of German and English
