Our Legal, Taxes, Insurance & Intellectual Property Unit advises on legal questions, taxes, insurance and intellectual property. We assist our colleagues and play an active role as a partner, drawing on our expertise in these areas. With our global team, we ensure that we are always close to the customer when we advise them.

What you can expect

Be part of our Global Legal, Compliance and Insurance department in the Legal Contracting Center Berlin.

  • You are responsible for monitoring and implementing compliance controls and their effectiveness, as well as for monitoring transactions, suspicious activity reports and spot checks related to high-risk issues.

  • Additionally, you further develop compliance policies, processes and controls and ensure their implementation.

  • You support case investigations by evaluating financial systems and participate in due diligence reviews of business partners.

  • Furthermore, you review Code of Conducts, conduct compliance surveys and prepare certifications.

  • You track compliance events as well as online compliance trainings and support the execution, evaluation as well as consolidation of Legal & Compliance Risk Assessments.

  • Finally, you are involved in the preparation and review of compliance reports as well as in compliance-related projects.

What we expect

  • degree in Economics or Business Law, an Audit Qualification, training as a Bank Clerk or a comparable qualification

  • initial professional experience in dealing with compliance issues

  • user knowledge in standard IT applications, in particular MS Office and initial experience with ERP systems

  • very good analytical skills and high affinity for numbers

  • outstanding command in German and English, further languages are an advantage

  • effective and addressee-appropriate communication, goal-oriented approach and customer focus
