In our department HR Services Europe, we provide specialized services on different HR topics, such as Payroll, Personnel Administration,Inquiry, Learning, Recruiting, etc. to our BASF Group Companies in Europe.

What you can expect

Based in Berlin, our fantastic and dynamic team HR Services France provides payroll services, personnel administration and master data to our group companies that are based in France. Your tasks will be as follows:

  • Prepare and process the monthly payroll and implement, improve and maintain administrative HR processes in SAP HR.

  • Work in close cooperation with our local HR Business Partners in France as well as our internal service departments in Berlin, and provide support when needed.

  • Ensure that all legal and regulatory requirements concerning our HR services are met.

  • Demonstrate an advanced knowledge of our Payroll and staff administration systems and processes, perform continuous analysis, monitor for bugs and define requirements for corrective actions.

  • Contribute to our knowledge management by documenting all processes and relevant legal regulations in accordance with our high quality standards, collaborate on internal projects and encourage the best practice sharing amongst our European payroll teams.

What we expect

  • You have completed your Bachelor or Master's Degree in Human Resources or in a relevant field.

  • You have 2 to 8 years' experience in the field of Payroll and HR Administration and you ideally have experience with SAP HR and Payroll systems.

  • You would like to deepen your knowledge about the specific legal regulations regarding social security, taxes, time management and compensation & benefits in France.

  • Towards customers you always present yourself in a professional and service-oriented manner.

  • Whilst working towards deadlines you demonstrate very strong analytical and organizational skills. Moreover, you are a proactive and entrepreneurial personality with high levels of initiative.

  • You are fluent in French and English - German is a plus- and you are willing to travel.
