Our People Services department is responsible for the demand-oriented and legally secure provision of services for personnel transfers in the area of Global Mobility. In the Transfer Services - Payments & Invoicing team, we support our customers with the compliant processing of invoices and accurate reporting of transfer related costs. Acurate billing and invoicing in accordance with internal guidelines and external regulations contributes crucially to BASFs talent mobility and bottom line.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a (Senior) Specialist / Accountant in the Payments & Invoicing team you will act as a contact partner for internal and external partners (e.g. Global Tax Provider, Global Relocation Provider) in relation to employee transfer invoicing and cost cross-charging topics.
You will steer the billing process from creation of POs to payments and clear rejected invoices.
Moreover you will perform quality checks, collaborating directly with stakeholders to resolve errors.
You will contribute to knowledge management, documenting billing and invoicing processes.
Furthermore you will optimize and streamline internal EMEA billing and charging processes in alignment with Business Reporting and Controlling units.
Last but not least you will interface to other mobility teams - provide guidance and support in the proper execution of process steps for billing and invoicing.
QUALIFICATIONS
University Degree in Business Administration / Corporate Finance / Economics
professional experience in finance and accounting; experience in inter-company billing a plus
experience working in SAP or comparable ERP system
good communication skills in English and German
structured, independent, and process-oriented way of working as well as having a high degree of analytical skills
customer oriented mindset

Gross annual salary: € 45,000 - € 50,000, depending on qualifications and professional experience. In addition, you can expect a bonus depending on the company's success and individual performance.
