Our team is searching for a Mechanical Engineer to work at our Bishop, TX site. As a valued member, you will develop and implement programs to ensure compliance with technical engineering standards, efficient repair procedures and processes, minimize disruptions to operations due to unplanned outages. You will also be accountable for providing technical support to improve equipment availability.
You will be reporting directly to the Mechanical Maintenance Execution Manager.
As a Mechanical Engineer you create chemistry by...
Participating in the development of routine maintenance job plans, analysis of equipment life and
performance, preparation and elaboration of repair, predictive, and preventative maintenance procedures, and designing maintenance activities to achieve equipment performance objectives
Providing daily support of planned and unplanned maintenance activities
Providing inputs into the Bad Actor Program and create action plans for improving reliability
Assisting with training and development of in-house maintenance resources
Participating in maintenance improvement, equipment upgrades, equipment replacement projects, and capital projects
If you...
Have a bachelor’s or advanced degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
Possess at least five years of professional experience in a chemical manufacturing environment
Have knowledge of Maintenance, Operations and Engineering activities in a chemical or manufacturing environment
Possess special knowledge of equipment fabrication; inspection; repair codes and standards applicable to the production of specialty chemicals
The ability to work in a team environment and establish and maintain effective working relationships with all departments at the facilities defines your work style.
