1st Class Rotating Mechanic (1800800) – Bishop, TX
Formula for Success: You Will…
Perform testing, troubleshooting and repair of all rotating equipment as planned, scheduled and assigned.
Perform routine preventive maintenance of machinery according to schedules and specific equipment requirements and recommend updates as required.
Ensure correct alignment and tolerances with the use of precise measurement tools.
Execute independently or under instructions the complete or partial overhaul of plant equipment.
Assist in the installation and testing of new machinery.
Perform general administrative tasks such as: acquiring job permits from operations, accessing and printing daily schedules from SAP, entering work history and closing work orders in SAP, entering time in SAP, acquiring PM task list, accessing information from plant pipe specifications, and producing simple job plans.
Assist in maintaining rotating equipment parts inventories adequate for the operating unit.
Review manufacturers instruction books, trade papers, etc. Attends and participates in such training or professional group conventions, conferences, training seminars, and meetings as may be approved to maintain skills and keep abreast of constant changes in the field.
Provide detailed description of work performed and parts used for equipment maintenance records.
Contribute to proper documentation of files, records, databases, and drawings to meet regulatory and BASF requirements, and complies with current requirements as to equipment/materials specifications and vendor preferences.
Seek compliance with all environmental, safety, and health requirements, and promote a safe working environment.

Ingredients for Success: What We Look For in You…
HS Diploma or equivalent
5 years chemical plant rotating equipment maintenance experience (various types of rotating equipment, including: equipment repair, troubleshooting, root cause failure analysis, and preventative maintenance)
1 year experience with Microsoft Office
Experience with SAP is a plus.
Magnetic drive pump and inside machinist experience is a plus.
Knowledge of laser alignment precise measuring tool preferred.
