We are looking for a Senior Agronomic Solutions Advisor to join our Agricultural Solutions team in Central California.

As an Senior Agronomic Solutions Advisor (ASA), you will develop and maintain business relationships with growers and consultants identified as strategic to BASF. Serving as a local agronomic expert, you will advise growers on BASF crop protection products and how they can help them maximize yield and profit for their operations. You will be accountable for achieving annual sales targets within your territory. This role requires your willingness to travel weekly with occasional overnight stays.

Establishing strong business relationships with key customers and educating them on BASF crop protection products in areas that fit their individual needs.
Being accountable for creating demand for BASF chemical products with assigned growers by establishing business plans focused on sales targets, forecasts, positioning and actions.
Developing an area/territory plan annually that includes overall business objectives, strategies for growth, identification of top customers, and an action plan to achieve overall growth.
Developing and executing market strategies to launch new products per established goals, market development execution, crop activities, and product positioning.
Collaborate on internal and external teams focused on the needs of the customer.
Directing field activities to support the BASF portfolio at the customer-level.
If you...
Leverage your Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of overall sales experience.
Have previous sales and agronomic experience.
Possess a California PCA license.
Have robust analytical skills and business acumen.
Promote a team-focused, collaborative mindset.
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay transparency
BASF is committed to pay transparency practices. The competitive Pay Range for this role is $89,600 - $123,200. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
