Where the Chemistry Happens

We are seeking a professional like you to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering best-in-class experiences for our customers in Canada. With a focus on cereal & pulse solutions, the Customer Experience, Senior Specialist is responsible for developing and executing fully integrated communication engagement plans for our grower and retail segments to create meaningful impact and drive results.

Formula for Success

  • Design, build and execute customer engagement plans in collaboration with agency partners, marketing and sales for target grower and retail segments to deliver an exceptional customer experience.:

  • Lead the development and deployment of cross-crop customer initiatives and platforms as needed (eg. product guides, education, webinars, etc.).

  • Partner with the crop marketing team to support the development of the annual cereals and pulse crop strategy, key messaging, and priorities to ensure the engagement and communications plan is aligned.

  • Understand customer challenges when growing cereal and pulse, and how BASF solutions solve these challenges.

  • Work with the creative agency and marketing to help develop customer content, key messaging, and priorities to support marketing in brand development.

  • Project manage and execute the cross-crop and crop tactics, ensuring it always aligns with BASF brand standards, crop and platform strategy.

  • Align with other customer engagement specialists for brands which cross into other crops, as well as any cross-crop platform initiatives.

  • Coordinate and track the annual marketing budget for your respective crop team.

  • Leverage market research to build in depth knowledge of our cereal and pulse customer segments, focus on interaction preferences and the sources of information they trust to make decisions on the farm.

Utilize feedback and analytics from in-market activities, customers, and sales to make improvements to the customer experience increasing customer satisfaction, loyalty, and ROI.

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Marketing/Communications or a related field.

  • Project management experience.

  • Agriculture experience and engaging with customers (3 years or more) preferred

  • Experience working on a high-performance team and the ability to influence without authority
