Where the Chemistry Happens…
The Seed Stewardship Canola Manager role will cover Canola on a global level and Canada on a local level. Close interaction is required with the other managers for Soybean and Cotton.
Formula for Success: You Will…
Enable all relevant Seeds Stewardship requirements for Seed and Trait activities in Canada.
Management/leadership for incidents
Seeds Stewardship lead for incidents in Canada, provision of sound Stewardship recommendations on facilities and third-party agreements and training personnel on Seeds Stewardship requirements and best practices.
Provide direction and guidance on oilseeds/canola to other Stewardship colleagues relevant to canola/OSR activities in other countries e.g., EU, Chile, Australia.
Key member of the North American (NA) region Stewardship team, work closely with peers in other key crops (e.g. Cotton and Soy) to achieve consistency and alignment in implementation of the Seeds Stewardship program within the region

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…
M.Sc in Agriculture/Biology with emphasis on crop science, seed solution, agronomy or related discipline
Minimum 3 years of relevant field experience for seed and trait activities with GM- and non-GM-crops, preferably with regulated material and with regard to Stewardship activities
Good working knowledge of seed and trait regulation
Ability to share your oilseeds/canola knowledge and expertise with others
Must have excellent communication skills with all levels within the organization and with external customers
Strong skills related to leadership, teamwork, interpersonal relations, customer focus, work management and results-orientation
Excellent computer skills and proficient in various software programs, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word
