Operator III – 2103012 – Central, SC

Formula for Success: You Will…

• Maintain proficiency in all job functions within production and fill-in as needed on shift. This includes but not limited to:

• Use product recipes to produce blended resin systems in multiple blend vessels including the PSM process.

• Have knowledge of raw materials and the hazards, locations, etc. of those raw materials and knowledgeable of the process equipment

• Use interface screens to the process control system to add exact quantities of chemicals to match product recipes, follow step-by-step batch instructions, and take samples as required.

• Load drums, totes, cylinders, and tank trucks with the final product from production vessels to meet customer requirements

• Unload raw materials via tank truck to bulk storage tank, tank truck to tote, and box vans of drums & totes. Assist Op Is and Op IIs with spotting and hooking up railcars

• Follow standard operating procedures to unload and check-in various raw materials for production. Support in updating operational procedures.

• Assist the Raw Material Op I with collecting the numbers for monthly tank strapping

• Being an integral part of the site’s safety culture. This individual is responsible for certain areas of the plant from a safety and housekeeping perspective

• Training in Department of Transportation (DOT). This individual must be able to understand hazard communication and DOT/OSHA requirements for chemical transportation, storage, and handling.

• Being a trained HAZMAT team member, an Incident commander, and a First Aid responder.

• Understanding how to use personal protective equipment to perform all necessary job functions within the process.

• Being Forklift and Yard Dog/Switcher certified.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Forklift license experience

• 3 months of industrial and/or production experience

• Strong safety mindset and work practices

• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills

• Attention to detail, working with a high degree of accuracy

• Willing to be HAZWOPER responder trained
