Supply Chain Planner II (2101580) – Clemson, SC

Where the Chemistry Happens

We are seeking a professional like you to provide support to the Clemson Urethane Systems operation in Central, SC. In this role, you will be responsible for creating the master bulk production plan for the site, ensuring materials, plant capacity and related transportation is available to support the production schedule. You will serve as the key interface between Supply Chain and site Manufacturing and provide daily support for the shipping activity coordination between Transplace / Customer Care and site shipping as needed.

Formula for Success

  • Leveraging your education in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or a related field and your experience is Supply Chain, Customer Care, Material Planning, or related field, you will perform planning of raw materials across the PMU portfolio based on demand.

  • Using your detailed working knowledge of SAP, you will create purchase orders, determine correct stock levels, and manage current inventory levels based on our customers’ needs.

  • Effectively collaborating with our transportation partners as well as plant operations, you will coordinate alignment/scheduling on deliveries.

  • Successfully engaging across the organization, you will be working with Procurement, Logistics, and Product Mgmt on a regular basis.

  • Your sense of urgency will serve you well in this role as you monitor critical shipments and communicate needs to our suppliers on raws.

  • Working well as a team player, you will cross-train to serve as a backup for the finished good production planner and scheduler.

  • Your keen attention to detail will be crucial as you will lead the monthly cycle counts for the site.
