What you can expect
As a Key Account Manager working within an international team, you will have full commercial responsibility for selling performance materials in a challenging and competitive environment.
The Performance Materials Division product range includes Thermoplastic Polyurethanes (TPU), Polyurethane Systems and Engineering Plastics.
You will predominantly sell PU Systems in the Italian market for PU applications in the Industry sector.
You will Manage and develop your own portfolio of accounts selling Performance Materials to a wide range of existing and new customers, reporting progress regularly to the business.
Working closely with Product and Technical Development, you will support customers technically and with new project requirements.
Working with marketing, you will monitor market trends and competitor activities at your customers, gathering information and using it to develop opportunities for growth.
What we expect
The successful candidate should be educated to degree level, preferably in an engineering or chemical based subject.
The ideal candidate will have acquired 3 years' experience selling into a speciality chemicals business, but also in touch with an industrial environment and Polyurethane Systems.
Candidates should be self-motivated and conscientious individuals, who are extremely sales and customer-focused and have first class negotiation, decision making and communication skills.
Fluent skills in both spoken and written English and Italian; Knowledge of German language could be a plus.
